M1, a series of software programs from British developer MagneticTime, is designed to let you listen to your email on your iPod , PDA, or mobile phone.
Listen to your emails (or word documents), when you are on the move, on a train, plan, at meetings, in your car or at the gym.
The software sells for USD 39.99, GBP 22.99 or Euro 33.99 and is available from Magnetic Time

How to Listen to Podcasts without an iPod!

Did you know you can subscribe and listen to podcasts, audiobooks and music without an iPod?
You download iTunes (download link further down), is is a nice piece of free software, that according to Apple is "Entertainment Center of Your World". From itunes you sync it into your Ipod.
If you don't have an iPod you can still download files on your PC or MAC and are abel to listen to your downloads - you can even watch videos.
A useful feature is the subscription function, it easy to subscribe to podcasts.
As an exampel from National Geographic's website you can subscribe to their Wild Chronicles serie. The episodes are from 4-10 minutes. Yes you can watch National Geographic on your TV but this will give the opportunity to watch only what you are interested in and you are not tempted to zap though the other TV channels.
Will be great for educators and whose who do home schooling.
How to subscribe:
Click on the link below:
National Geographic Wild Chronicles
copy the link on the website -->
open your iTunes -->
click "advanced" -->
click "Subscribe to Podcast" -->
paste the URL -->
click OK.
... you are now a subscriber and iTunes will start to update your subscription.

For finding a topic of your interest do a Google [podcast subscription+your topic]

I found the answer here:
The iPod warranty is one year including the battery. If your iPod battery perform at last than 50% of it’s stated capacity, you can get it replaced at: http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/battery.html. You can also extend the iPod's warranty, including battery coverage, to two years with AppleCare Protection Plan for iPod.
